Fresh and lighter floral directions can feel comfortable during daytime routines, while amber, oud and warm spice profiles are often better suited to evenings or controlled application.
For office wear or close conversations, start with fewer sprays and assess the perfume after it settles rather than judging only the opening.
Concentration is only one clue
EDP, parfum and extrait formats can contain a higher proportion of aromatic material than many EDTs, but formula, skin, humidity and movement all affect the result. Treat concentration as a comparison point, not a guarantee.
Store bottles away from heat and light
Keep perfume upright in a cool, shaded place with a stable temperature. A bedroom drawer or closed cabinet is usually preferable to a sunny shelf, hot car or humid bathroom.
